Building on Legacy: From TSLA & TWS to Legacy Education Collective

Building on Legacy: From TSLA & TWS to Legacy Education Collective

For more than two decades, The Success Learning Academy (TSLA) and The EJ Wright School for Success (TWS) have served families across South Fulton with consistency, care, and commitment.

These schools have been more than places of learning — they have been trusted institutions rooted in community, relationships, and a shared belief in the potential of every child.

Legacy Education Collective (LEC) begins with that foundation.

A Legacy Worth Building On

TSLA and TWS were built through years of hands-on leadership, deep community engagement, and a clear focus on meeting the needs of families. That work created not only strong academic environments, but lasting trust across generations.

LEC was formed to carry that legacy forward — not by replicating what already exists, but by building on it with intention.

Why a New Collective

As education continues to evolve, so must the structures that support it.

Legacy Education Collective is a newly formed nonprofit designed to unify leadership, strengthen long-term planning, and create a more cohesive approach to education from early learning through elementary school.

By bringing TSLA and TWS under a single collective vision, we are able to move beyond isolated programs and toward a system that is aligned, sustainable, and designed for long-term impact.

A Thoughtful Transition

This next chapter includes a planned transition.

Over time, TSLA and TWS will evolve within the Legacy Education Collective and be unified under a cohesive model that includes:

  • Legacy Early Learning (Infant–PreK 4)
  • Legacy Innovation Academy (K–6)

This transition is intentional. It allows us to align operations, invest in infrastructure, and design a learning experience that is consistent from the earliest years through elementary education.

At its core, this is not about replacing what exists — it is about strengthening it and preparing it for what comes next.

Expanding What Education Can Be

Legacy Education Collective is not limited to a single school model.

While TSLA and TWS represent the starting point, LEC is being built as a broader ecosystem of educational support — including tutoring, after-school enrichment, family engagement, and future adult education opportunities.

Each of these components will be aligned to a shared vision and designed to support students and families across multiple stages of life.

Looking Ahead

The work of Legacy Education Collective is grounded in experience, but focused on the future.

As we move toward a unified Infant–6 model and a 2027–28 launch, our commitment remains the same: to serve families with integrity, to build with intention, and to create opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.

We are proud of where this work began — and even more excited about where it is going.
